Saturday Scraps - CREATIVE TEAM CALL

Patch Multi-Crafts announces its first Scrapbooking Creative Team Call!

We're looking for talented scrapbookers to show the community what they can do with our new scrapbooking products! Team members will receive free product to use to make samples for the store. Samples will stay in the store as long as the line is for sale, and then the creative team member (ctm) will be able to to keep the sample! More detailed information will be explained to interested participants.

So how can you become a CTM? We'll be accepting applications for the first round of CTMs for one week. To apply, use the Page Map below to present a "Scrapbook Bio" of yourself and why you love scrapbooking.

Requirements:

You must use products currently on sale in the store in your scrap bio.

The main photo must be of you.

Title is your first name.

Digital may be included, but it must be primarily traditional products.

Must be in a page protector when turning in.

Include your full name and email address on the back of the page.

Bios of selected CTMs will remain with Patch Multi-Crafts for the duration of the CT involvement.

What's hot Wednesday

We're back! While we were busy with our wonderfully fun Arts and Crafts contest & Art and Espresso sale, quite a bit of fabric came in. Please excuse the bad lighting and blurry photos. 1930's style Clothesline by Darlene Zimmerman for Kaufman fabrics.

Kaufman's, Carolina Chambray. You must see this fabric up close. Chambray is a versatile fabric to work with. It was first made with a light blue warp and white weft. It became very popular for work men's clothing. The bottom bolt in this picture is that style. The other bolts are shot through with different colors giving the fabric a sheen that gets better with age.

ARTS AND CRAFTS CONTEST

The awards ceremony is on Wednesday.

The doors open at 17:00 and awards will be presented at 19:00.

The public is invited to view the art and share refreshments.

Shape Challenge

Stretch your creativity and think outside the box. Or inside the star. Or around the circle. For this challenge your page should be dominated by a large shape, and your pictures and/or papers should mimic the shape.

Hybrid Challenge

Show us your skills BEYOND THE PAGE.

Create a piece of wall art, a decopauged gift item, or wearable art. Just use your scrapbooking products for something other than a scrapbook page.

Saturday Scraps - Scrapweek Challenge Rules

Today is National Scrapbooking Day, and scrappers around the world are celebrating with crops, sales, and challenges! We just couldn't limit the celebration to one day, so we have a whole week of scrapping, starting today!

Scrapweek Challenge Rules

1. Complete as many challenges as you like. Pages may be traditional or digital.
(digital pages MUST be of your own creation and NOT quick pages.)
2. Put your pages in a plastic sleeve!!!
3. Turn in your entries to Patch Multi-Crafts with the entry form (below) attached to the back.
4. Check back every day for the next challenge.
5. Each completed page will get you one entry into the drawing for scrapbooking supplies.
6. One name will be drawn from each of the following categories:

• Completed at least one


• Completed all six


• Completed more than six (repeated some)

7. Turn in your entries no later than 18:00, May 8th. But please bring them earlier so we can put them on display!
8. You must be present on May 9th for the drawing to receive a prize. Names will be drawn at 14:00 at Patch Multi-Crafts.
